Janssen
Carpentry has been retained in the past to remodel various parts of peoples’ homes. A few are documented below. Other projects have included installing crown moulding, trim-out of custom windows and doors, pulling and replacing vanity and kitchen cabinets, building a new closet in a closet-challenged house, and installing base and shoe moulding.
Reske Closet
This project was a remodel of a closet involving widening the original closet and adding shelves and poles to both sides.
Culver Built-in and Mouldings
Built and installed a custom bookshelf with adjustable shelves in the dining room. Added crown moulding to the dining room and living room. Installed shoe moulding in the screened porch.
Kerrigan Wet Bar
Janssen
Carpentry installed five cabinets and customized a counter top inside a small storage niche to create a wet bar.

Reske Window Seat
A cedar-lined window seat with a hinged top was built in a window dormer of a Cape-Cod style house.
Dales Arch and Pass Through
The client wanted to open up the living room, dining room, and kitchen areas by removing doors and wall sections and installing arches in those openings.
Jones Bearing Wall Remodel
In a narrow duplex in DC, Janssen
Carpentry opened up a kitchen and dining room by removing a load-bearing wall and installing a structural beam.
